We with Dragons! (1 of 2)

After a beer and some fun we finally decided to go back to our car...

but not before getting some shots of us (Enzo and Me) with a trio of Dragons... How can you pass the chance? You cannot!

Moreover We've discovered why Dragoons are so strong? BEER! (sometimes Italian beer too!)

This is the first shot, the one I've shot of Enzo...

An Early Spring Flower ^_^

After the game we went to the "3rd Half!" a moment of friendship and nearness between supporters of both teams (and the teams themselves share some time together!).

While we were leaving the stadium (the 3rd half place was out there!) We met several welsh dressed up in costumes... I resisted the urge to shot the first few of them... till I saw this lady...

I could not missed this lovely flower, Could I?

She was realy lovely to pose for me :)...

To say it all I do not like this PPing... There's to much unreal vignetting ant it does not really enhance the shoot... but this was how it worked out... today would have been different or I' would have tried to PP it in a more subtle way...

Marcato's 3 points!

I clearly remember this shot... how could I forgot it!

Italy was playing a good game but not getting any try out ouf our plays (as usual I should say!). Welsh actions grant us a kick on the 40 meters line and near the touch line (12 meter in the field I would say)... We all believed it would have used the kick to move the game nearer the tryzone...

Andrea Marcato and some other Italian players are discussing...

Marcato raise his hand and point to the goal... I'll try to go for three points? it's a 46 meter long kick with a wild angle!!
This shot is the moment of the kick...

2 seconds later all the stadium was cheering (Welsh too!) for the really good kick...

I took the shot with the Sigma 70-300 and I set it to 70 in order to get an idea of the relative positions of Marcato and of the goal.

Sorry but it's a normal photo not a magical one like in Harry Potter\

These are the very first two shots of the game.
Italy open on the open side and after 1 pass it feints and change direction for Mirko Bergamasco that was launched forward.

It was a clear deliberate scheme the tean had decided to use... it went well... but even with the 6 shots /sec of Nikon D300... there was not enough frames to have a movie.

A can show you two frames of that action^_^ bot of them were taken with the SIGMA 70-300 4-5.6 APO one of hte cheapest lens out there!

Yes.. please... tell me...

Ok let me start with saying this shot is an intentional one... mainly street but alla I'll say its the truest truth!

The guy on the left is a friend of mine (Enzo Amato? do you remember?) that day we decided to go seeing a 6 nations rugby match  Italy vs Galles.
We already knew Italy's chance of winning were dim at the max :.( but you did not go to a rugby match onyl to see your team prevail... it's more a party thing!

So we got there... and started looking for two other guys from Rome that were to come with us.
I carried the camera open and ready with the neck strap on... and I saw this scene...
Enzo was looking for our friends (looking toward the stadium) and not more than a meter away another man was looking for someone in the opposite directions...

It really seems the two are talking... but they have to said a single word in that moment... it's a street or not!!
